Desiree is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who specializes in family medicine, medical weight loss, and bariatric surgery care. Desiree completed her Masters in Nursing at South University in Savannah, GA and is board certified through The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and the Obesity Medicine Association

Patient Care Philosophy

My journey into bariatric medicine began when I had my sleeve gastrectomy in 2015. Having firsthand witnessed the positive impact my providers made on my entire wellbeing has fueled my passion to help my patients through their weight loss journey by either medical or surgical weight loss, and sometimes both! Every day that I am entrusted with helping you through the joys and struggles of weight loss is an honor and I look forward to celebrating all of the victories with you.

Interests

Desiree spends her time away from work with her husband, three kids, and two pets. She loves to travel with her family and thinks Iceland has been their favorite destination!
