Latisse® for Longer Eyelashes

As we age our lashes lighten and thin. Your eyes are the window to your soul. Stop putting glitter on them and give people something to really look at.

Want an insider’s point of view on LATISSE®? We gave one woman considering LATISSE® the opportunity to have her questions answered by those in the know: real LATISSE® users and a doctor. It’s an informative conversation that will get you talking – to your doctor.

What to Expect:

Great eyelashes don’t just happen overnight. That’s why it’s important to note that LATISSE® (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% works gradually and remarkably – with full results after 12 to 16 weeks. Once you begin treatment, you must continue applying the topical solution each night and follow the directions for best results. Remember results are gradual over time.

Your eyelashes will experience real measurable growth. LATISSE® works from the inside out. As the treatment progresses, you’ll begin to see changes in length, thickness and darkness gradually. After week 16, you’ll see the full effect of LATISSE® – and so will others.

What you need to know about LATISSE®

LATISSE® is not a replacement for mascara, but rather a treatment for inadequate lashes, and requires a prescription from a doctor. We can do an exam and fill your prescription right here in our office. Though reported in less than 5% of patients, side effects after using LATISSE® solution may include: itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness, but should usually last only for a short period of time. Consult your doctor if the itching persists or you notice other symptoms as well. Less common side effects include: skin darkening, eye irritation, dryness of the eyes, and redness of the eyelids. You should not use LATISSE® solution if you are allergic to one of its ingredients. Talk to your doctor if you are using IOP-lowering medications, as LATISSE® may decrease IOP. To ensure safety and maximize effectiveness, please follow the application instructions.

Juvederm & Voluma Fillers

What is JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel?

Juvederm Voluma™ XC injectable gel is the first and only filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore contour and a more youthful profile, for up to 2 years, in patients over the age of 21. It’s different than Juvederm® XC and works on a different area of the face. Juvederm® XC smoothes out moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, like parentheses. Juvederm Voluma™ XC, however, adds volume to the cheek area.

Juvederm® Hyaluronic is an acid dermal filler for wrinkles around the mouth. Juvederm® has two formulas, making it adjustable for specific needs. The injection process takes only about 15 minutes. Its effects can last up to 1 year…that’s much longer than Botox®. And, Juvéderm® is the first hyaluronic acid dermal filler that has demonstrated its safety and effectiveness in persons of color. In addition to wrinkles around the mouth, it can be used to improve or enhance facial structures such as:

  • Filling in acne scars
  • Enhancing cheek bones to make them fuller and more defined
  • Enlarging lips for a fuller, softer pout
  • Correcting lip deformities or asymmetry
  • Non-surgical nose-job to fill in dips and valleys in the nose bridge
  • Filling in hollows under the eyes that contribute to dark circles
