Carolyn began working here in January of 2021 and is responsible for oversight of the Human Resources and Payroll as well as Risk Management functions for both the clinic and ambulatory surgery center. Carolyn comes to our organization with over 25 years of experience in Human Resources with her most recent position as the HR Generalist for a manufacturing company in the Everett area. Prior to that role, she was living & working in Chelan, WA where she raised her family. While living in Chelan, Carolyn worked in the healthcare industry as the Benefits and Workers Compensation Coordinator for Lake Chelan Community Hospital for over 17 years. In a small town, she had many tasks that rolled up to her, this led her to be very involved in HR, Risk Management, Benefits, Workers Compensation and Safety Committee duties as well as backup for Payroll, Accounts Payable and anything else her employer may have needed.
Carolyn was a leader in the Employee Activity Committee functions at the hospital as well and hopes to bring many new and exciting processes and programs to our team. She earned her PHR in Human Resources in 2012 and is now in the process of studying to earn her SHRM-SCP certification in 2022.
I enjoy gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family. I am a new, ‘OLD’ gamer, as my technology savvy children would say and enjoy playing board games or card game on the weekends as well.
Patient Care Philosophy:
It is my privilege to work towards hiring the most skilled, knowledgeable, and efficient group of clinical and non-clinical staff who bring their best to the table every day at Northwest Weight & Wellness and Sound Surgeons Surgery Center. Our top-of-the-line providers and support staff make a difference in the lives of a very diverse and undervalued group of patients who suffer from weight and wellness issues and the social stigma that society labels them with. It is our vision to create an environment to restore health and change lives and it is my honor to work with this dedicated group of individuals in serving our patients.
