Dr. Montgomery graduated from Columbia University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He did his surgical residency and a trauma research fellowship at the University of Washington and is board certified, a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery, the Council for Advances in Bariatrics as well as the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. He was a busy general laparoscopic surgeon for 10 years at the Everett Clinic until dedicating his practice to weight loss surgery in November 2002. Return to overview
